Flower of the Field v2

Happy to present to you my first v2 launch, Flower of the Field. This scent has been macerating together for about 10 month meaning all the ingredients in this blending together into perfection and maturity. Flower of the Field is meant to envision the full rose from stems, to leaves, to pedals, you get the full effect. I used Lavender, Lime, and Vetiver to produce the green for this scent. The top opens with White Ambergris, Lime, Lavender, and rhododendron. Immediately you are enveloped with a berry fruit mixture from the Rhododendron and the Lime. The Lavender on open is more tamed and just used to add a touch of green herbal touch. In the heart Rose is the main player including; Roe de Mai, Rose Gallica, and most importantly Azerbaijani Rose otto bought directly from the distiller. This rose is super expensive and rare and tested to ensure the quality from every batch. The Frangipani, Osmanthus, and Jasmine Sambac play more supportive roles to paint the full picture of the rose. Finally in the dry down I used a Chinese Oud and Kinam tincture. I found them to produce a sweet almost honey oud facet and compliment the blend perfectly. Lastly, the Vetiver and Siberian Musk cut through some of that sweetness to provide a blend that is well balanced and truly encapsulates a green rose; from the stem, to the leaves, to the pedals. read more
