Lost Tribe Perfumes
Snowfall is cool, invigorating, and surprisingly uplifting, built around that perfect balance of mint, eucalyptus, camphor, a juicy melon accord, and rose otto, with a wild twist that makes it stand out.
From the very first spray the mentholic vigor shows its stength. Tarragon and bay laurel give a sharp, herbal green snap, blending seamlessly into the green rose otto. Red rose otto adds a soft, velvety floral touch, while lemon brightens everything with a clean citrus zing. Then the conifers kick in: Douglas fir and Scots pine bring that forest-fresh resinous pine needle vibe. Eucalyptus arrives cool and medicinal, opening your airways, and right beside it is the melon accord; juicy, watery honeydew or cantaloupe, chilled and crisp, cutting through the greens with this unexpected, refreshing sweetness that feels almost futuristic in a natural composition.
As it moves into the heart, things get even more interesting. Camphor takes the lead here. Icy, mentholated coolness that's sharp but comforting, like Vicks but way more elegant and blended. Palo Santo fruit adds a subtle fruity-smoky layer, costus root brings an earthy, animalic rootiness, and iris (80% irones) gives a powdery softness that starts hinting at what's coming. Neroli and clary sage weave in floral-herbal brightness, while galangal root adds a spicy, eucalyptus like scent that fits the theme perfectly.
The real magic happens in the base, where the wild Maluku oud steals the show. This rare oud from the Maluku islands smells almost exactly like orris root; buttery, powdery, rooty, with that luxurious iris-like depth, but twisted with a dark, woody oud character that's resinous and slightly leathery. Each 15ml bottle contains a full gram of this wild Maluku oud, so it's potent and rich. It anchors everything beautifully. Sri Lankan sandalwood adds creamy, milky woodiness, Siberian musk brings a soft, clean animalic warmth, and mint absolute lingers with cool freshness. Licorice root gives a subtle anise sweetness, vetiver adds earthy sharpness, fir and aged eucalyptus deepen the coniferous feel, and frankincense rounds it out with dry, citrusy resinous incense.
