Gamma LTD

Before anything else, florals are what put us on the map, and this higher-tier release is a full return to those roots. Not by picking one flower and building around it, but by letting a whole lineup of florals interact until they became something new entirely.

Neroli otto and honeysuckle kick things off bright and nectar-sweet, but it's the moment gardenia enfleurage and frangipani lean into that opening that things get interesting. The gardenia's tart sharpness and the frangipani's tropical fruit facets melt into each other, turning a simple bright opening into something lush and full almost immediately. Green tea cuts back into that sweetness from the other direction, keeping the whole blend electric and fresh instead of letting it go soft too fast.

Rose raduga and Taif rose otto together build a rose accord with far more depth than either could manage alone, and instead of standing apart as "the rose note," that accord bleeds directly into magnolia, osmanthus, and blue lotus. Apricot-leather from the osmanthus, lemony lift from the magnolia, soft aquatic notes from the blue lotus, until the line between rose and everything else disappears completely. That's the custom floral accord blend doing its job: not adding another note, but acting as the glue that lets every flower bleed into the next.

Underneath it all, vanilla works to round every sharp edge. Orris 80%, the very last of it that I had, brings in a bold violet facet that stops the other florals from taking the blend into a sweeter territory. White kinam pushes its narcotic notes throughout the wear right from the start with its gorgeous sharp top notes to its fine resinous base notes. Nothing here is a solo act. Every material is reacting to the one next to it, brightening, softening, deepening, until the individual notes stop being individual at all and Gamma LTD becomes its own singular floral, one you won't find broken down anywhere else.
