We used a special, very expensive grapefruit designed to last all day, from the top notes all the way down to the base. Grapefruit is famously fleeting, which is why most citrus fragrances vanish after an hour. This one doesn't. Grapefruit, lemon, and bergamot lead with bright zesty snap, while pineapple, apple, and black currant add juicy sweetness and a little tartness. Cedar, blue cypress, and birch bring a dry, woody, smoky backbone, with a touch of smoke just a little drop of it.
