This is a truly special, limited-edition wild oud that tells a story of time, earth, and patience. Distilled in May 2025 from Aquilaria Fillaria dead trees in Merauke (the only place guaranteed 100% wild oud), these trees naturally fell and were slowly buried in dirt and mud over years. That long, gentle burial in the ground infuses the wood with a gorgeous, deep earthy note that permeates the oil.

We used careful steam distillation at just 90°C in stainless steel and glass to preserve every nuance, no aggressive heat to alter the profile. The result is pure, unfiltered magic.

From the moment you open it, that signature Merauke incense smoke rises first; classic, clean, and hauntingly beautiful, like temple incense drifting through misty air, resinous and slightly sweet with a touch of spice.

But what sets Merauke-X LTD apart is the earthy layer from those buried years. The ground contact adds this incredible, natural dirtiness. It’s like smelling wet soil after rain mixed with aged wood all wrapped around that smoky incense core. The two elements blend seamlessly: the ethereal smoke lifted by the deep, terrestrial earthiness.
