This aging process in the controlled environs of the royal vault has allowed the roses to develop a depth and complexity that cannot be found in freshly harvested flowers. The scent of these aged roses is profoundly rich, with hints of a gorgeous lychee note that pops out.
Adding to the exclusivity of this fragrance is the deer musk pod, also sourced from Sultan Qaboos's vault. Like the roses, this musk has been aging for decades, enhancing its potency and melding its deep, animalic notes with the subtler, floral nuances of the aged roses. Bulgarian Rose Otto adds a green, fresh dimension, and Rose de Mai contributes a light, almost honeyed quality to the blend. Enhancing the top notes and adding a sparkle to the blend, White Ambergris has been carefully selected.
