Description

Star — a name that radiates with energy — is the golden glow of the Miami Vice Series, capturing the sultry allure of a city that never sleeps. Where YaYo is bold and electric, Star is smooth, radiant, and slow-burning. At the heart of this creation is an unexpected yet irresistible pairing: a ripe banana note wrapped in warm amber, anchored by the incredible rarity of Tigerwood Oud, vintage 2018. The result is a fragrance that glows like the skyline at dusk — modern, sensual, and unforgettable. read more

The opening of Star is like stepping onto a rooftop terrace above South Beach — electric and alive. The banana note here is unexpected in the best way. It's lush, creamy, and tropical, with just the right hint of freshness. Not sugary or synthetic, but smooth and nuanced. Green Cognac adds a juicy, herbal brightness that plays perfectly off the fruit, giving the opening a sparkling, slightly boozy kick. Chinese Geranium adds a rosey, leafy sharpness, lifting the fruit with aromatic tension and adding just enough sophistication to keep it refined.

As the top begins to soften, the heart of Star unfolds. The amber accord takes center stage — rich, resinous, and golden. It doesn't overpower; instead, it wraps the composition in a velvety aura. Supporting this is Blue Chamomile, which adds a calming herbal nuance, softening the intensity of the amber and giving the fragrance a dreamlike clarity. Italian Oakwood brings a dry, woody complexity that grounds the sweeter elements, while Frangipani contributes a lush, tropical floralcy that melds beautifully with the banana note. Finally, Tuscan Orris — refined and powdery — brings elegance and depth, tying the heart together with a subtle, skin-like softness.

The real magic of Star, however, emerges in the base — where the scent lingers long into the night.

The foundation is built around the rare Tigerwood Oud from 2018, a precious material known for its deep, resinous profile. Unlike the sharp, smoky ouds often found in traditional perfumery, Tigerwood 2018 is smooth, woody, and leathery — aged to mellow perfection. It brings a mysterious richness to Star, creating a grounding contrast to the brighter top and heart notes. Alongside it is Kerala Sandalwood 1953 — a rare, buttery sandalwood that melts into the skin and adds warmth, longevity, and a creamy elegance.

The base is rounded out with French Vanilla, which adds a soft sweetness that enhances the banana and amber without turning the composition into a gourmand. Instead, it lends the kind of luxurious warmth you might associate with clean linens. A subtle Spice Accord laces through the drydown, offering whispers of cardamom, pepper, and nutmeg — never sharp, just enough to keep things interesting as the scent evolves.

Star is a tribute to the Miami night — golden, glamorous, and just a little bit wild. It’s a fragrance for someone who glows from within, who doesn’t need to be loud to be seen. It’s radiant and self-assured, with tropical softness and elegant depth living side by side in perfect balance. Banana and amber, softened by florals and anchored by rare woods, create a scent that’s as unforgettable as a warm breeze on Collins Avenue.

With Star, the Miami Vice Series expands into a softer, more luxurious chapter — but one that still carries the same magnetic energy and bold identity.

OUR ALL NATURAL

Our Process

  • Step 1: Concept & Ingredient Sourcing

The creation of Star began with a bold, sensual vision: to craft a fragrance that captured the glow of Miami nights, blending smooth decadence with tropical intrigue. From the start, the goal was to create a scent that was luxurious, unexpected, and radiant — centered around an unusual banana note paired with a rich amber accord. To balance this brightness, the I sought depth through rare and aged materials, including the extremely limited Tigerwood Oud 2018, prized for its resinous smoothness and subtle smoky-woody warmth. I also secured Kerala Sandalwood from 1953, a creamy, time-aged base that would add body and longevity to the fragrance’s drydown. These rare ingredients were chosen to elevate the composition and give Star a signature that could never be duplicated.

  • Step 2: Formulation & Blending

With the key concept and ingredients in place, the next stage was developing a balanced and elegant formula. The top of the fragrance was carefully constructed around banana, with a goal of avoiding anything overly sweet. A natural banana accord was softened with green cognac for a fresh, herbal lift, and Chinese geranium was added for a touch of aromatic edge. The heart of the formula was built to radiate with a golden amber accord, wrapped in the soft floral tones of blue chamomile, frangipani, and Tuscan orris, all enhanced with Italian oakwood for woody depth.

Countless variations were tested and adjusted, with samples reviewed for balance, projection, and how the fragrance evolved on skin. The final touch was weaving in the base: Tigerwood Oud 2018 for richness, Kerala Sandalwood for smoothness, French vanilla for warmth, and a spice accord to give the scent a subtle, lingering trail. After several months of refinement, Star was complete — a perfect harmony of tropical sweetness, resinous glow, and deep, confident warmth.

  • Step 3: Maturation & Bottling

After finalizing the formula, the blend was left to mature, allowing the oils to marry and settle. This resting period enhanced the natural textures — especially the creamy facets of sandalwood and vanilla, and the soft projection of the banana and amber fusion. Once fully macerated, the fragrance was carefully filtered and hand-bottled.

Our Ingredients

Green Cognac

Extracted from the remnants of pressed white wine grapes used in cognac production, its aroma is fruity, herbaceous, and slightly boozy—reminiscent of crushed grape skins, tart green apples, and a hint of dry white wine. There's a subtle vine-like greenness that gives it a natural freshness, while faintly fermented, vinous undertones add a touch of sophistication and warmth.

Italian Oakwood

Italian Oakwood has a deep, grounding aroma that is rich, woody, and subtly smoky. It carries the scent of aged barrels, forest floor, and warm earth, with dry, tannic nuances that recall the interiors of old wine cellars or vintage oak casks. There's a natural warmth to its character—softly resinous with gentle hints of leather, moss, and faint spice—making it feel both robust and refined.

Our Quality Speaks For Itself

Fact 1

Despite its name, Blue Chamomile (also known as German Chamomile or Matricaria recutita) gets its striking deep blue color not from the flower itself, but during the steam distillation process, when a natural compound called chamazulene is released. Chamazulene gives the essential oil its vivid blue hue and is highly valued for its calming, anti-inflammatory properties.

Fact 2

The classic "amber" scent in perfumery isn't derived from a single natural material, but is actually a fantasy accord—a carefully crafted blend designed to evoke warmth, sensuality, and golden depth. It was first popularized in the 19th century, when perfumers began combining ingredients like labdanum, benzoin, and vanilla to mimic the rich, sweet, resinous qualities associated with the mythical idea of amber. Interestingly, this scent has no direct connection to fossilized amber resin (the gemstone).
