At the heart of YaYo lies a narcotic cocaine accord: not literal, but a perfumer’s fantasy—crafted to evoke the rush of power, seduction, and raw adrenaline. It's sharp, crystalline, and addictive, a daring artistic interpretation of the high life. But what truly anchors the composition is one of the rarest and most difficult ingredients to acquire within modern perfumery: Orris Butter with 80% Irones.

Orris, derived from the roots of the iris plant, must be aged for three to five years before its scent is even released. From there, isolating irones—the aroma compounds responsible for the powdery, buttery, violet-like scent—becomes a complex feat of extraction. At 80% irones, the orris in YaYo is nearly unheard of in contemporary perfumery. It’s velvety, shimmering, and quietly opulent.

The composition opens with a jolt of juicy raspberry and the vibrant sparkle of Italian grapefruit, cutting through the air like the first crack of laughter at a rooftop party. Chinese geranium adds a green-rose sharpness, while expressed lime gives an electric citrus twist. Laced through this is a haze of brown ambergris, salinic and sun-warmed, diffusing through the top like ocean mist on tanned skin.

As the scent unfolds, the cocaine accord takes center stage—cool, mineral, and sheer with an intoxicating gleam. It doesn’t shout. It stuns. Supporting it is the ultra-rare orris butter, whose powdery texture is contrasted and enriched by exotic florals: blue lotus and pink lotus tuberose hum with aquatic sensuality, while Turkish rose and French osmanthus add petal-soft depth—one rich and jammy, the other fruity and animalic. Thai frangipani brings a creamy, tropical glow, and neroli offers a thread of crisp white blossom that lifts the bouquet with elegance.

The base of YaYo is where the fantasy becomes firmly rooted in depth. Wild Bangladesh oud, earthy and dry, mingles with the rich, fleshy tone of black meat sandalwood. Sweet Mongolian musk adds an animalic warmth, sensual and raw, while frankincense CO2 glows with an incense, resinous halo. The final touch of Choya Nakh, distilled from roasted seashells, adds a subtle mineral smokiness—evoking luxury, danger, and heat rising off pavement after rain.

YaYo is opulence on edge—lush, indulgent, and laced with risk! It does not apologize. It commands. As the flagship of the Miami Vice Series, it sets the tone for what’s to come: fragrances that capture not just the mood of a place, but its secrets—the shadows behind the sun, the glamour behind the grit.

With its narcotic heart, rare ingredients, and hypnotic evolution, YaYo is a high-contrast masterpiece. It moves from sparkling citrus to narcotic florals to dark, addictive woods—each stage more provocative than the last. Like the city it’s inspired by, YaYo is electric, unforgettable, and always just a little dangerous.

OUR ALL NATURAL

Our Process

  • Step 1: Concept & Ingredient Curation

The creation of YaYo began with a bold vision: to translate the rush, decadence, and allure of Miami nightlife into scent — with a narcotic cocaine accord at its heart. From the start, this fragrance was meant to push boundaries and break expectations. Anchoring this daring concept was the decision to feature Orris Butter at 80% Irones — an extraordinarily rare and luxurious material known for its velvety, powdery depth. Achieving this concentration required sourcing aged orris roots (aged for up to 5 years) and undergoing an intensive extraction process, typically reserved for the most exclusive fragrances. Each additional material — from wild Bangladesh oud to sweet Mongolian musk — was hand-selected for its richness, precision, and ability to enhance the contrast between sparkling brightness and addictive darkness.

  • Step 2: Formulation & Blending

Once the foundation was in place, the creative formulation began. Top notes of raspberry, lime expressed, and Italian grapefruit were layered with brown ambergris and Chinese geranium to create a juicy, electric opening that felt like the first hit of energy in the Miami heat. The heart was built around the cocaine accord and orris, surrounded by a lavish floral arrangement of blue lotus, Turkish rose, Thai frangipani, French osmanthus, and neroli, carefully balanced to evoke both floral luxury and narcotic haze. Finally, deep base notes of oud, sandalwood, frankincense CO2, and Choya Nakh grounded the composition with smoke, warmth, and sensuality. Dozens of trials were made and adjusted — samples were tested on skin, in humidity, and on fabric — until the blend performed like the scent of Miami itself: bold, bright, and dangerously smooth.

  • Step 3: Maturation & Bottling

After finalizing the formula, YaYo was given time to mature — a crucial step allowing the diverse elements to settle and fuse. During this period, the orris butter softened into the heart of the fragrance, the ambergris expanded the projection, and the base materials became seamless and plush. Once fully matured, the perfume was filtered and hand-poured into its final bottle — sleek and modern, yet with retro edge to match the Miami Vice aesthetic.

Our Ingredients

Orris 80% Irones

This rare form of orris butter is derived from the rhizomes of the Iris pallida plant, which must be aged for 3 to 5 years before distillation. The resulting butter contains irones—aromatic molecules responsible for its signature scent. At 80%, the irone concentration is extraordinarily high, making the olfactory experience richer, smoother, and more luminous than standard orris extracts.

Blue Lotus

The floral notes are delicate and silky, with a touch of sweetness that never overpowers. Beneath the surface lies a gentle aquatic freshness—clean, dewy, and reminiscent of still, sacred waters. An underlying earthiness grounds the scent, hinting at damp roots and fertile soil, giving Blue Lotus a subtle depth that feels both spiritual and grounded.

Our Quality Speaks For Itself

Fact 1

In ancient times, orris root was used to scent royal linens and wigs in Egypt, and was even found in the tombs of pharaohs for its prized fragrance. The Greeks and Romans also valued orris for its aromatic and medicinal properties, using it in perfumes, powders, and love potions. Its delicate, powdery scent—reminiscent of violets and soft earth—was considered a symbol of elegance and purity, making it a staple in early luxury perfumery.

Fact 2

Despite its common name, the Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is actually a type of water lily, not a true lotus. Its unique color and enchanting scent made it a symbol of the Nile and Egyptian royalty, often appearing in jewelry, perfumes, and even on the crowns of pharaohs. Blue Lotus flowers were frequently used as offerings to the gods and in garlands at lavish banquets, showcasing their status as a symbol of both luxury and spiritual significance in ancient Egyptian culture.
