From the first breath, Nirvana greets the senses with an invigorating burst of Bergamott and Cedrat, their zesty, citrusy sparkle dancing like sunlight on water, bringing an immediate uplift of freshness. The vibrant, slightly tangy Yuzu complements this citrus medley, adding a layer of complex brightness that paves the way for the deeper, more enigmatic notes to unfold.

As the fragrance settles, the rare and serene Blue Lotus emerges, used with a heavy hand; its ethereal floral notes are floating through the heart of Nirvana. Accompanying the Blue Lotus are the lush, intoxicating essences of Gardenia and Jasmine Sambac, which bloom together in a symphony of sweet, seductive florals. The addition of Tobacco Flower and Rose, complete with its verdant leaf, introduces a refined, slightly mysterious complexity, evoking an enchanted garden at dusk, where flowers exude their deepest scent. Tobacco flower is one of the rarest and most expensive florals on the market, it emanates scents of plum jam, dark cherry, bitter cocoa nuances, and qualities reminiscent of raw green coffee beans.

The soul of Nirvana lies in its exceptional base, where a tapestry of some of the most revered materials in perfumery is woven. The deep, resonant aroma of Lampung Oud sets a luxurious and powerful foundation deep, dark, and resinous in nature. Not a smokey dark oud like most others but a resinous black that only comes from aged oud trees. Enriched further by the majestic Sri Lankan Sandalwood that offers a creamy, rich backdrop, layered with a profound depth that only ages-old heartwood can provide.

Into this wooden base blend the primal essences of Civet, Siberian Musk, and Black Ambergris. Each of these provides an animalistic warmth and intensity, grounding the fragrance with a potent, earthy rawness that is as captivating as it is comforting. Civet adds a musky, almost erotic depth, while Siberian Musk offers a fur coat, almost ethereal counterpoint, and Black Ambergris infuses its distinctive marine oiliness, all of them enhancing the longevity and complexity of the fragrance.

The refinement continues with the addition of Orris, a derivative of iris roots that brings a powdery softness, a delicate counterbalance to the headier base notes. The Orris’s subtle luxury is accentuated by the spicy warmth of Ginger Absolute and the woody, resinous touch of Jade Wood.

Frankincense and Blue Cypress contribute sacred and aromatic dimensions, while Chlorodendron adds a green, almost leafy freshness. Violet Leaf completes the composition, wrapping the other elements in its cool, herbaceous embrace, adding a final touch of green tranquility.

Each note, each essence has been chosen not only for its individual merit but for how it harmonizes with the others. The result is a perfume that is rich yet subtle, opulent yet understated, an embodiment of the quest for the divine in both nature and spirit.
This fragrance is a tribute to the eternal pursuit of perfection and peace, a luxurious olfactory tapestry that offers each wearer a personal path to their own Nirvana.

OUR ALL NATURAL

4 Step Process

A little insight to the creation of Equatorial

  • Step 1: ZEN

To craft a perfume that encapsulates the essence of Zen, I focused on simplicity and natural purity. Begin with a base of calming, earthy notes, which provide a grounding effect. Integrate heart notes of Blue Lotus and Tobacco Flower to promote tranquility and relaxation. I topped off the blend with refreshing, clear top notes of bergamot and yuzu to introduce a crisp, clean opening. Finally, keeping the formula minimalistic, allowing each scent to breathe and subtly interact without overwhelming the senses. This approach ensures the fragrance remains serene and balanced, evoking a sense of peacefulness and Zen-like calm with every spritz.

  • Step 2: Expanding the blend

To expertly expand a fragrance’s scent profile, the art lies in selecting materials that naturally complement and enhance each other. Start with a core note and build around it with complementary scents that elevate the primary aroma without overpowering it. The trick is to maintain a harmonious balance where each scent plays off the others, enhancing the overall complexity and richness. Adjusting proportions and experimenting with unexpected combinations can also uncover unique scent synergies, making the fragrance evolve beautifully on the skin over time.

  • Step 3: Lampung Oud

Lampung Oud offers a profoundly deep and dark aromatic experience, characterized by its rich, resinous quality that borders on the exotic and the mystical. It carries an almost tangible essence of rubber, which adds an intriguing, edgy twist to its profile. This is elegantly wrapped in the luxurious, dark scent of a jet black leather jacket, evoking images of classic sophistication with a bold, contemporary edge. The overall aroma is intense and captivating, perfect for those who appreciate a fragrance with a strong personality and an air of mystery.

  • Step 4: Maturation

I allowed the blend to age for several months to let the components fuse and the scent to stabilize. After aging, I re-evaluate the scent to ensure it still meets the desired profile and make minor adjustments if necessary. I test the blend for longevity on the skin and its sillage to ensure it performs well in real-world conditions.

Our Ingredients

Blue Lotus

Blue Lotus is renowned for its captivating, ethereal fragrance that carries a subtle, mystical quality. It exudes a slightly sweet and floral aroma, reminiscent of the delicate, powdery scent of water lilies. There's an underlying freshness to Blue Lotus, often described as having aquatic notes that evoke the serene ambiance of a tranquil pond. The scent is also enriched with hints of spice and a subtle herbaceous tone, which add depth and complexity, making it both soothing and invigorating.

Tobacco Flower

This particular variety of tobacco flower exudes a fruity sweetness reminiscent of thick, sugary plum jam, complemented by the dark, slightly tart nuances of ripe cherries. These fruity elements provide a succulent, almost edible quality to the fragrance. Adding to the complexity are subtle hints of bitter cocoa, which introduce a rich, decadent undertone, enhancing the floral tobacco with a dark chocolate depth that is both luxurious and enticing. This chocolatey note seamlessly blends with the slight bitterness and earthy tones of raw green coffee beans, lending an invigorating freshness and a touch of green sharpness that cuts through the sweetness.

Violet Leaf

Characterized by its fresh, green, and slightly aquatic qualities the leaf imparts a more earthy and herbaceous tone, with a cool, cucumber-like freshness that is both crisp and subtly floral. The scent profile of violet leaf is notably grassy and dewy, evoking the sensation of a lush, green landscape after a rain shower. There's a slight metallic sharpness to it as well, which adds a modern, clean edge to the fragrance.

Civet

The scent of civet is multi-faceted, characterized by a warm, intensely animalistic musk that is both provocative and sensual. The aroma of civet has a sharp, almost pungent quality at first, which softens and becomes more pleasing as it warms and blends with the skin. It carries underlying tones that can be both sweet and floral, lending a certain lushness and depth that enhances its versatility in fragrance compositions. Despite its strong initial notes, civet settles into a smooth, enduring scent that adds a profound richness.

Cedrat

Cedrat, also known as citron, offers a unique fragrance profile in the citrus family, distinguished by its bright, zesty, and somewhat sweet aroma. Unlike its more common relatives like lemon or lime, cedrat boasts a more nuanced scent that combines the classic sharpness of citrus with a green, slightly floral and herbaceous backdrop. The initial impression of cedrat is vibrant and refreshing, with a robust citrus kick that is less acidic than lemon but more intense and aromatic. It carries hints of a light, almost woody undertone and possesses a degree of bitterness that adds complexity to its predominantly fresh and tangy character.

Our Quality Speaks For Itself

Fact 1

Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) has a historical significance in ancient Egyptian culture. Revered as a sacred symbol of the sun god, the Blue Lotus was believed to have rejuvenating properties and was associated with rebirth and the afterlife. This mystical flower was frequently depicted in ancient Egyptian art, adorning temples and tombs, and was used in ceremonial rituals. The Blue Lotus was not only valued for its spiritual and decorative uses but also for its psychoactive properties. It was known to induce a state of euphoria and relaxation when used as an infusion in wine or directly consumed, enhancing its mystical aura. This historical use has led to the Blue Lotus being referred to as the "Ancient Egyptian Dream Flower," symbolizing both the cultural richness and the ethereal beauty of ancient Egypt.

Fact 2

Civet has a historical role in perfumery. Civet, a musky substance produced in the perineal glands of the civet cat, has been used as a fragrance ingredient since ancient times. It was highly prized both for its intense aroma and for its properties as a fixative, capable of stabilizing other fragrance notes and prolonging the longevity of the scent on the skin. Interestingly, civet was also once considered a panacea and was used in traditional medicine across various cultures to treat ailments like fevers and skin conditions. In the Victorian era, it was even included in recipes for pomades and hair treatments, showcasing its versatility beyond perfumery. This usage highlights not only civet's value in fragrance creation but also its historical significance in health and beauty practices.
